Compassionate Care Western North Carolina

Compassionate Care Western North Carolina is a not-for-profit health care agency offering a special kind of care, often called hospice. It is designed to provide sensitivity and support to terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice care seeks to help patients carry on an alert, pain-free life and manage their symptoms so that their last days can be spent with dignity and quality, at home, in a long-term care facility, or in the hospital. It is built on the principles of comfort, dignity, choice, and control and it is provided without regard to age, sex, race, color, national origin, religion, disability, or ability to pay.
